L’ancien défenseur formé aux Girondins de Bordeaux, Romain Brégerie, évoluant jusqu’alors à Ingolstadt revint dans son précédent club : Darmstadt. Le défenseur central a officiellement été prêté à Darmstadt, alors qu’il est sous contrat jusqu’en 2020 avec Ingolstadt. Il va donc finalement poursuivre l’aventure en Allemagne.
